Danish newspaper Finans quoted lawyer John Sommer Schmidt, who has been appointed to oversee the company’s estate, as saying the company aims to continue operations while it prepares to sell itself and its assets.
World Marine Offshore operates shipping operations in Europe and Asia with a fleet of 11 crew transfer vessels in Europe and four in Taiwan and has a staff of 90 employees.
The company also said it has four newbuild vessels underway.
