French transmission system operator RTE is seeking companies to carry unexploded ordnance (UXO) surveys along future export cable routes of the Centre Manche 1&2 and South Brittany offshore wind farms off France.
Lot one covers Centre Manche 1&2 and lot two is for South Brittany, with both expected to last three years.
Contracted companies will have to survey the routes and identify potential locations of UXO at the sites.
They will also provide data to the French government agency DRASSM (Department of Underwater and Underwater Archaeological Research) so that DRASSM can carry out the archaeological assessment on each cable route corridor of the projects, in order to obtain the project permits.
Interested parties have until 4pm on 5 August to apply.
