OX2 has been chosen to manage a 90MW wind farm in Finland owned by Ålandsbanken Wind Power Fund.
The Swedish wind farm developer and operator will provide technical, commercial and financial management of the Murtomäki wind farm, outside Pyhäjärvi.
The wind farm consists of 15 turbines and OX2 will provide “optimal asset performance”.
“We look forward to being responsible for the management of the wind farm with our high-quality full scope offer.
“Ålandsbanken Wind Power Fund is a very active owner with a great interest in developing renewable energy whom we view as a strategic long-term partner,” said Lars Bryngelsson, responsible for technical and commercial management, OX2.
Ålandsbanken Funds investment director Juha Känkänen said: “Optimized wind farm operation is a key focus area for Ålandsbanken Wind Power Fund.
“Through its tested analytical processes and wide reference base OX2 is well-positioned to provide the Murtomäki wind farm with TCM services that benefit our investors.”
This will be the ninth externally built wind farm where OX2 TCM has technical and commercial management responsibility.
OX2 is responsible for the technical and commercial management of wind farms in Sweden, Finland, Lithuania, and Poland, with a total installed capacity of about 3.6GW.
