Parkwind has awarded Semco Maritime a service contract for the offshore substation at the 257MW Arcadis Ost 1 offshore wind farm in the German Baltic Sea.
The contract covers 2022-2027 and will see the latter company perform service assignments at the platform northeast of the German island of Rügen.
Semco Maritime has already been responsible for designing and implementing all electrical systems on the unit during the construction phase.
The contract includes scheduled and unscheduled service and maintenance, corrective maintenance and 24/7 monitoring and on duty call in connection with potential malfunction or disruption calling for immediate action.

The wind farm project is expected to be commissioned in late 2023.
