Earnings from NextEnergy Solar Fund’s portfolio rose about 22% during the financial year ended 31 March 2022 to £90m (€105m) from £74m in 2021.
Portfolio revenue increased 19% to £114m in the latest year compared with £96m the previous year.

NextEnergy Solar Fund said the portfolio performed strongly and expanded through acquisitions in international solar assets and battery storage.
Total installed capacity is now 865MW, up from 814MW at the end of the 2021 financial year.
The company now owns 100 operating solar assets.
It added that the company has exclusivity over an immediate attractive pipeline of £350m of domestic and international assets across the solar and battery space.
