PGE and Orsted have cancelled a tender lot for the offshore substation and module support frames for the 1498MW Baltica 2 offshore wind farm off Poland.
The developers, which had launched the tender for substations for both Baltica 2 and 3 with separate lots for each, said that after the receiving of the first tenders and clarification meetings they have found that there is not sufficient competition to continue the tender process for both lots.

The duo have therefore decided to cancel the tender process for Lot B for Baltica 2.
Lot A for Baltica 3 continues, they added.
PGE and Orsted said they will consider how to re-tender for Baltica 2 in the “coming time”.
