Harland & Wolff shipyard will be hosting its first virtual green skills insight day in partnership with social mobility charity Speakers for Schools.
The event, titled Green Skills in the Maritime and Offshore Engineering Industry, will be held on 26 April from 9:30am to 12:30pm.
The session is open to all young people in state schools aged between 16-19 years old.
Running in line with Green Skills Week, the Harland & Wolff session will provide students with an introduction to the company, its contribution to green skills as well as the many job opportunities on offer.
The session will also provide students with a chance to hear from its experienced team and take part in a live green skills Q&A.
Green Skills Week is a Speakers for Schools initiative that offers young people insight days, work experience and inspirational talks to introduce roles in the growing green economy.
Applications to participate in this insight day must be made via the online Speakers for Schools portal.
