UK tidal developer SBS International has been approved to begin a feasibility study for a tidal project in Indonesia.
The request for the feasibility study for the project in the Larantuka Strait follows on from an MoU signed last year with Indonesia Power.

The study will include an offshore study to gather primary tidal resource data in the strait.
SBS expects to submit the report from the study in the next three months.
