The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued the final air permit for the proposed construction and operation of South Fork Wind offshore wind farm on the east coast’s Outer Continental Shelf.
The 130MW project in the Rhode Island-Massachusetts Wind Energy Area is a JV between Orsted and Eversource Energy.

South Fork Wind is slated for operation in 2023 .
EPA said it considered all public comments submitted during the public comment period in its final decision-making process.
It has prepared a Response to Comments document to describe and address any significant issues raised during the comment period, and to describe the provisions of the draft permit that have been changed and the reasons for the changes.
