Estonian renewables outfit Enefit Green’s output was down over 2% in November compared with the same month in 2020.
The company produced 122.9 gigawatt-hours of electricity last month, down from 125.6GWh last year.
The result was mainly driven by lower wind energy production in Estonia and higher production at Lithuanian wind farms.
During November the average recorded wind speed was 7.3 metres a second at both Estonian and Lithuanian wind farms, compared with average recorded wind speeds of 7.7m/s and 7.1 m/s respectively in November 2020.
Enefit Green produced 73.6GWh from its Estonian assets, down from 78.7GWh in November 2020.
Lithuanian wind farms delivered 45.1GWh in November 2021, compared with 42.6GWh last year.
The rest of the output came from projects in Latvia and Poland – 3.8GWh and 0.4GWh, respectively.
