Specialist offshore engineering and design consultancy Gavin & Doherty Geosolutions (GDG) has appointed Indrasenan Thusyanthan as offshore director.
He was most recently chief geotechnical engineer at Atkins, and before that held several other key positions, including roles at Saudi Aramco and Acteon Singapore.

He has also been a lecturer at the University of Cambridge.
Thusyanthan (pictured) headed the St Brieuc wind farm foundation design and has been an expert witness with experience in arbitration.
His remit is to grow new services in the offshore sector and provide technical assurance for offshore projects.
