Boskalis has completed the installation campaign of 48 pin piles for the 600MW Changfang & Xidao offshore Changfang & Xidao (CFXD) offshore wind farm phase one off Taiwan.
Boskalis’ crane vessel Bokalift 1 was used for the campaign which kicked off in early July.
CFXD is located 15km off the coast of Changhua County in Taiwan.
Boskalis’ next job on the project is beginning to instal three-legged jackets, through the rest of 2021.
CTCI Machinery Corporation manufactured the pin piles for the project, back in June.
CFXD is due online in early 2024.
Last month Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, on behalf of some of its funds, agreed to divest a 25% stake CFXD to Global Power Synergy Public Company, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Global Renewable Synergy Company Limited.
CIP, through its funds, will continue as joint majority owners in the project and lead the construction phase towards commercial operations in 2024.
