Brazilian company Omega Geracao is to buy a 50% stake in the over 181MW Ventos da Bahia 3 wind farm in Brazil from EDF Renewables.
The total purchase price is valued at R$422.9m (€70m), of which R$196.6m will be paid in cash and R$226.3m will be net debt.

Ventos da Bahia 3 is expected to enter into commercial operation in January next year.
It will comprise 33 GE 158-5.5MW turbines.
Omega Geracao said that when the deal is completed it will be the third partnership with EDF.
