TotalEnergies is to supply Amazon with 474MW of renewable energy in the US and Europe, under a collaboration agreement signed today.
Under the terms of the deal, Amazon will also help TotalEnergies accelerate its digital transformation.
The companies also expect to expand the cooperation in the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
TotalEnergies will contribute to Amazon’s commitment to power operations with 100% renewable energy by 2030 and reach net zero carbon emissions by 2040.
With Amazon Web Services as a key cloud provider, TotalEnergies will accelerate its move to the cloud, boosting its IT transformation, the digitisation of its operations and its digital innovation.
TotalEnergies president of gas, renewables and power Stephane Michel said: “TotalEnergies is deeply committed to reducing the carbon emissions of its operations and supporting its customers to do the same around the world.
