The developers of the 200MW Donghae 1 floating offshore wind farm off South Korea have completed a feasibility study for the project.
Korea National Oil Corporation, Korea East-West Power and Equinor said the proposed project off Ulsan had passed the preliminary feasibility study conducted by the Korea Development Institute.

The developers aim to start generating 750,000 megawatt-hours of electricity a year from the wind farm from 2024.
Korea National Oil Corporation head of new growth projects Ahn Beom-Hee said: “This is a meaningful starting point for a major transition from the era of carbon energy to the era of clean energy in the future.”
