Copenhagen Offshore Partners (COP) has appointed Alan Hannah as partner, senior vice president and chief executive of its UK branch.
Within COP, Hannah will be part of the executive management team and take responsibility for delivery of the project pipeline.
He will particularly focus on developing and driving COP’s floating offshore wind competence centre from his base at the company’s Edinburgh office.
Hannah brings 18 years of experience in delivering offshore wind projects having been involved in some of the earliest projects in both Europe and the US offshore wind markets.
COP co-chief executive Lars Thaaning Pedersen said: “We are very proud that Alan has chosen to join COP.
“Alan shares our love of working in highly skilled and agile project teams as well as our ambition of making offshore wind a significant contributor in fighting climate change.
