O&M companies Deutsche Windtechnik and PSM WindService are to merge to become a single company under the former’s brand from 1 January.
PSM, which became a subsidiary of Deutsche Windtechnik earlier this year, will cease to exist as an independent entity and all its operations will transfer.
A number of management changes are also planned, including the departure of Torsten Stoll who will be leaving at the end of the year to take on a new position as the managing director of WPD Windmanager Erkelenz.
The managing directors Holger Hämel and Severin Mielimonka will continue operations from January.
“Deutsche Windtechnik and PSM WindService have grown closer this year and already forged ahead with a very good integration,” said Deutsche Windtechnik director Matthias Brandt.
“The merger is now just the next logical step under corporate law to combine forces as much as possible and eliminate any duplicate structures.
“This will make us stronger together and drive us forward in terms of our performance and growth, which in turn will benefit all of our customers.”
