EnBW has awarded Bureau Veritas Industry Services a contract for project certification for the 900MW He Dreiht offshore wind farm off the coast of Germany.
Bureau Veritas will take over the certification for the wind turbines and the foundations according to the requirements of the Federal Office for Maritime Navigation and Hydrography (BSH) for all project phases.
The certification will be completed by the end of 2025 and its purpose is to ensure safe operation of the wind farm over 25 years
Tenders for turbine delivery and installation, service and maintenance, foundations design as well as for the delivery and installation of the internal cabling are ongoing.
Next year, EnBW will start tendering for the production, transport and installation of the foundations.
He Dreiht is located 90 km north-west of Borkum and about 110 km west of Helgoland in the North Sea.
It is scheduled to go into operation in 2025.
