Developer Simply Blue Energy has unveiled a new logo as part of a rebranding of its parent company Simply Blue Group.
Inspiration for logo was taken from a chart used by meteorologists to measure the speed and direction of wind, dubbed a rose plot.
The shape of the design is based on wind data gathered at Cork Airport in Ireland.
“With the expansion of both our team and business horizons we are moving into an exciting and dynamic new stage for Simply Blue,” said commercial director Hugh Kelly.
“Our new brand reflects this positive energy while maintaining a link with both our technical expertise and our Irish routes.”
Simply Blue Energy is developing the 96MW Erebus floating wind project off Wales as part of a joint venture partnership with Total.
The company has also started early stage development work for an up-to-1GW floating site off the coast of County Cork in Ireland.
