GE Renewable Energy has won a 327MW turbine order in India from SB Energy (SoftBank Group).
GE will supply, install and commission 121 2.7-132 units for the Pritam Nagar wind project in Madhya Pradesh.
SB Energy won the project during an auction of wind projects by Solar Energy Corporation of India.
Blades for the turbines will be manufactured in GE’s plants in Vadodara and Bengaluru.
Assembly of the nacelles will occur at GE’s factory in Pune.
