Germany’s Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency is seeking companies to carry out geological modelling and reporting of offshore wind areas in the North Sea and the Baltic Sea.
A tender has been issued split into two lots, one covering work in the N3 area of the North Sea and the other for the 01 area of the Baltic Sea.

The work is part of preliminary investigations of the two areas, with the goal to create geological models and reports that will be made available to third parties that will be looking to develop offshore wind farms.
The contracts will run from 1 May this year until 15 November, with the possibility of renewal for the same period in 2021.
Interested parties have until 11am local on 30 March to apply.
