Nordex Group is to supply turbines to OX2 for the 48MW Ljungbyholm wind farm in Sweden.
The deal is for 12 N149/4.0 machines and includes a 30-year premium service agreement.
Ljungbyholm will be built near the town of Kalmar in southern Sweden.
Nordex will install the turbines on tubular steel towers with hub heights of 125 metres and total heights not exceeding 200 metres.
Construction is scheduled to start this spring, with installation of the first turbine components in early 2021.
The wind farm will deliver about 150 gigawatt-hours of electricity a year once operational in mid-2021.
Nordex chief sales officer Patxi Landa said: “We are delighted that OX2 has again chosen our Delta4000 turbines. This is a proof of confidence in our technology.
“And the service contract of 30 years is also a clear sign of confidence in our service and maintenance expertise as OEM.”
