The German federal maritime and hydrographic agency BSH has launched a call for surveyors to help map the seabed at two potential new lease areas off Germany.
The hydrographic survey work will include sonar and magnetometer tests and the results will help produce a geological report that will be use in pre-planning future wind farms.

The sites are both located in the German North Sea in potential development area N-6.
Interested parties must have an annual turnover of €1.3m and have completed two similar surveys in the last five years in order to successfully tender for the work.
Applicants have until April 1 to respond to the tender.
