Nordex Group has won a turbine order totalling 138MW with an unnamed client for an undisclosed wind farm in Mexico.
The deal is to supply and install 40 AW132/3300 and two AW132/3000 machines, as well as a two-year full service contract.
The project will be built in the state of Tamaulipas in the north-east of Mexico.
Installation will start in spring 2020.
The turbines, which will have a hub height of 120 metres, will be installed on concrete towers manufactured locally by Nordex at its Mexican manufacturing plant at Marin in the state of Nuevo Leon.
Nordex said the latest order will be for a wind farm close to an 180MW project with AW125/3000 turbines, which Nordex built in 2018.
Nordex has installed more than 27GW of wind energy capacity in over 40 markets and in 2018 generated revenues of around €2.5bn.
