Acta Marine’s construction support vessel Acta Centaurus has completed its work on the 269MW Deutsche Bucht offshore wind farm in the German North Sea.
The DP2 walk-to-work vessel contributed to the commissioning phase over five months, starting in June this year and ending on 22 October, according to DHSS, the Netherlands-based company which is acting as ships and port agency and helicopter logistics provider for the project.
Acta Centaurus is now transiting to a wind farm in Northern Belgian waters, said DHSS.
In other news, DHSS confirmed that service operations vessel Vestland Cygnus has finished its deployment on another North Sea project, the 369MW Merkur offshoer wind farm, after a period of around one year and eight months.
Full commissioning for both projects is expected before the year end.
