A subsidiary of the State Grid Corporation of China and Norwegian company NBT are teaming up to build the 300MW second and 750MW third phases of the Zofia wind farm in Ukraine.
The €1bn project will be located in the Zaporozhye region, with the first stage will comprising 42.5MW.

Construction of phase one will start next year and be completed by the end of that year, with the subsequent phases slated for completion the following year.
The partners also signed a project pre-financing arrangement agreement with three Chinese banks.
They are Industrial Commercial Bank of China, Export-Import Bank of China and China Construction Bank.
