Poland is planning to hold auctions for offshore and onshore wind and solar power capacity in December.
An offshore wind auction for projects above 1MW is planned for 12 December, while onshore wind and solar sales for developments over 1MW will take place on 5 December, according to the country’s energy regulatory office.

The Polish Wind Energy Association noted that the dates are subject to change, with final confirmation needed at least 30 days before the auctions.
It added that energy volumes to be auctioned will also be announced when the final confirmation is made.
There could also be auctions for biogas in late November, as well as for wind projects below 1MW on 9 and 10 December.
