Offshore oil and gas contractor Saipem is collaborating with technical consultancy Studio Rinnovabili addressing renewable energy opportunities both in their domestic Italian market as well as internationally.
The partnership will combine competencies in engineering and construction services for utility-scale wind and solar projects.
Saipem renewables business development manager Francesco Balestrino said: “We believe, indeed, that our consolidated experience and innovative capabilities in the services sector for oil and gas complement the development of infrastructure in renewable energy.
“Working with Studio Rinnovabili will allow both a rapid growth of the specialist skills required by the new market and a greater presence on the Italian market.”
