Danish company ProCon Wind Energy has signed a contract with EEW to support fabrication of 30 transition pieces for Orsted’s 1400MW Hornsea 2 offshore wind farm off the east coast of England.
ProCon will assist EEW Offshore Structures Britain with the electrical construction of the TPs at the latter’s yard in the UK.
The work will be carried out in the first and second quarters of 2020.
ProCon said: “We are extremely proud to be a part of this prestigious and well-known project as it supports the notions regarding our business growth along with our core emphasis on quality and delivery on time at competitive prices.”
In August, the company secured a similar deal with Bladt Industries for 72 TPs for Vattenfall’s 605MW Kriegers Flak offshore wind farm off Denmark.
