Offshore wind recruitment outfit Atlas Professionals will open a US office in Boston, Massachusetts on 1 October.
The office, located at the Cambridge Innovation Center, will provide professionals to the offshore marine, energy and renewables industries.
The Boston office is the second US office set up by Atlas, and will work closely with the Houston-based team to grow the US workforce. The new Boston base will also form alliances with trade unions, local academic institutes and maritime academies in the region.
Atlas Professionals business manager Laura Smith said: “We are delighted to announce a presence in Boston.
“It will be our pleasure to meet new and existing customers along with suppliers, partners, professionals, trade unions, colleagues and friends over the next months.”
Around 35% of professionals on Atlas’ books work in the offshore wind and wider renewable energy industry.
