Spanish turbine technology company Nabrawind Technologies has raised €1.2m by welcoming compatriot investor Basarro as a new shareholder.
The injection from the latter, which is part of the Navarre industrial group, comes on top of the €1.5m raised by initial investors in 2018, including Barinaga&Alberdi and Sodena, and a Horizon 2020 grant of €1.7m.
Nabrawind says it is in talks with “main players” in the wind sector for the supply of its modular blades and self-erecting towers, with deals in 2020 and 2021 in sight.
The company has also secured agreement with EIT Innoenergy to join the shareholding.
General manager Eneko Sanz that welcomed the new investors.
“Their presence will provide additional added value, beyond mere financial support, which is also important,” he said.
