Orsted has awarded marine environmental and planning consultancy MarineSpace a place on the former’s UK environmental impact assessment (EIA) framework agreement.
The award means MarineSpace will be eligible to provide the Danish developer with offshore EIA and consultancy services over the next three years.
MarineSpace managing director Phil Durrant said: “This is a significant step forward for the company and is the result of two years of concerted effort and development by the whole MarineSpace team to reach a position where we can support a major developer such as Orsted in the successful delivery of their ongoing and future offshore wind farm developments.
“We look forward to working with the Orsted team and will be using this opportunity to further broaden our capabilities and the services we offer across all marine sectors.”
MarineSpace will be supported with the work by subcontractor Intertek.
