Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners is interested in acquiring German wind developer PNE.
The Cuxhaven-based outfit said “conversations” with the US investor, as advisor of the North Haven Infrastructure Partners 3 fund, are taking place.
“PNE received an indicative non-binding offer from MSIP outlining possible key parameters regarding a potential takeover offer for all outstanding shares of PNE at a price range of €3.50 to €3.80 per share,” said a statement.
Shares in the PNE were trading up almost 13% at €3.33 on Tuesday.
“Outcome and timing of the conversations are not yet certain,” added the company.
“In particular, any possible transaction is subject to finalization of due diligence and signing of a transaction agreement. There is no guarantee that the ongoing conversations will lead to a result or an offer will be made.”
