LOC Longitude has opened a new office in Newcastle upon Tyne in the UK’s north-east to serve the region’s growing offshore renewables and maritime market.
The office, which is the engineering outfit’s fourth in the UK, will host specialist geotechnical, geological, naval architecture and marine systems consulting engineers.

The office will be run by geotechnical engineer Catherine Bradley and engineering geologist Cara Watson, specialists in offshore renewables, and Jonathan Land, a specialist in ships and offshore construction projects.
There are plans to expand the Newcastle office in due course.
