Renewables Consulting Group (RCG) has hired Raoul Kubitschek as a director in the company’s Taipei office in Taiwan.
Kubitschek has been working in Taiwan and the Greater China region for over a decade, and is fluent in Mandarin.
He will lead local business development and client operations, with experience covering both wind and solar projects.
RCG Asia-Pacific managing director Gareth Lewis said: “We are accelerating provision of expert services for clients in Taiwan, Japan and beyond.
“Raoul brings incredible insight into Taiwan’s market, especially for offshore wind projects, built on direct experience and connections with local stakeholders.
“RCG combines local knowledge and global expertise, to give clients the in-market support they need.”

Before joining RCG, Kubitschek founded his own energy consultancy business, supporting Taiwan’s nascent offshore wind industry.
In the past he has served with the German Trade Office Taipei, supporting German and Taiwanese companies and institutions develop and expand their activities in Taiwan or Germany.
He is a member of the board of the Taiwan Renewable Energy Alliance and former director of the European Chamber of Commerce Taiwan Low Carbon Initiative.
