EnBW has installed 44 of the 87 Siemens Gamesa 7MW turbines at the 609MW Hohe See and Albatros offshore wind farm complex in the German North Sea.
Fred Olsen Windcarrier jack-up Brave Tern, assisted by Blue Tern, is carrying out the work from the port of Esbjerg in Denmark.

Both wind farms are due to be grid-connected by the end of the year.
EnBW said that the electricity generated by the projects will cover the equivalent aggregate requirements of all the private households in Munich.
