Italian wind farm developer ERG has bought a pipeline of 13 onshore projects in Germany with a combined generation capacity of 224MW from MMV Energie unit Windwarts.
ERG said it had acquired the assets for a total enterprise value of €4m, divided between an upfront payment and subsequent amounts related to project development.

Four of the 13 projects were currently at a latter stage of development and all of them were located in the northern German states of Lower Saxony and Schlewig-Holstein.
ERG said the move marked a further step for the company into the German market following this week’s commissioning of its 21MW Linda wind farm in Saxony, which ERG acquired last year.
