Infinergy has started construction of the Ferrum wind farm on land owned by Tata Steel IJmuiden in the Netherlands.
The 7.05MW project will comprise three Enercon E92 2.35MW turbines with 85-metre hub heights and 131-metre tip heights.

Construction is being carried out by VolkerWind and the project is expected to be operational by the end of 2019.
Ferrum will generate around 25 gigawatt-hours a year of electricity, which will be fed into the local grid.
