UK outfit SeaRoc Group has expanded a strategic alliance programme to include French company Valemo.
Valemo specialises in the remote surveillance and operation and maintenance of renewable energy projects from seven bases in France.
SeaRoc Group managing director Steve Pears said: “Our strategic alliance programme has already offered the benefits of local support to our clients around the world.
“By partnering with Valemo we are able to bring that experience to the French offshore wind sector which will be further enhanced by our launch of the SeaPlanner software in France in early 2019.”
Valemo director Frederic Prevost said: “This partnership is a new step forward in our strategic and continuous support to the French offshore wind industry.
“Sharing competences with the leading software provider SeaRoc, together with collaborating with national educational maritime institutions, allows us to propose a structured, local and long-term marine coordination solution to our clients.”
