SeaRoc Group has delivered SeaPlanner software and marine coordination training to the Industrial Technology Research Institute in Taiwan.
The UK outfit said this marks the first formal marine coordination training given to a Taiwanese client.
Chieh-Cheng James Yen, a senior researcher within the Green Energy and Environment Research Laboratories at ITRI, completed training from SeaRoc Group and Specialist Marine Consultants.
The training included techniques and best practices for managing the safety of personnel and assets as well as monitoring of marine operations.
SeaRoc said the Taiwanese training extended its support to the growing offshore wind sector in south-east Asia, following similar education for Japan’s first marine coordinators.
