Germany’s latest onshore wind tender has produced yet another disappointing result, with just 295MW worth of projects bidding despite the 650MW on offer.
Of the 41 bids submitted, support was awarded to 35 projects with a combined capacity of 270MW, according to network agency BnetZ, which described the result as “worrying”.

Difficulty for developers getting construction permits from state governments is continuing to “significantly shape the tendering procedure and the result,” BnetZ said.
The average bid was 6.13 Euro cents per kilowatt hour, slightly above the average of this year’s first auction of 6.11 Euro cents.
The range of successful bids ranged from 5.40 Euro cents to 6.20 Euro cents.
