Solar energy projects have secured all the 201MW of capacity on offer in Germany’s second combined onshore wind and photovoltaic tender.
The country’s grid regulator BNetzA awarded the capacity to 36 solar projects with an average support price of 5.27 euro cents a kilowatt-hour. Successful prices ranged from 4.65 euro cents/kWh to 5.79 euro cents/kWh.
It added that it received 50 bids totalling 307MW, 49 for PV projects and one for a wind farm.
Ten of the winning projects with a combined 65MW capacity are located in the region of Brandenburg, BNetzA said.
Solar also won all of the capacity in the country’s first combined auction in April. The average price in April was 4.67 euro cents/kWh, with prices ranging from 3.96 euro cents/kWh to 5.76 euro cents/kWh.
