Swedish renewables company Eolus Vind achieved a profit of almost Skr39m (€4m) in the second quarter, running from December 2018 to February 2019, up from Skr36m in the same period last year.
Profit before tax was Skr31.2m in the latest period, compared with Skr27.8m a year earlier.
In January 2019, the 11MW Anneberg wind farm in Sweden’s Tidaholm municipality was completed and handed over to the customer KGAL. It is the first project in Sweden to use Vestas V136 turbines, Eolus said.
The developer and operator brought 10.8MW of wind capacity into operation in the second quarter compared with 4.4MW in the same quarter of the previous financial year.
At the end of February 2019, Eolus had 421MW under asset management, compared with 350MW at the end of February 2018.
Electricity produced from Eolus’ own wind farms reached 9.3 gigawatt hours with an average revenue of Skr632 per megawatt hour.
