Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon will deliver a keynote address in the opening plenary conference session at the All-Energy conference and exhibition in Glasgow on 15 May.
The 2019 event will be the third time Sturgeon (pictured) has addressed the All-Energy show, now in its 19th year.
Other speakers at the event to be held at Glasgow Event Campus on 15-16 May include ScottishPower chief executive Keith Anderson and Committee on Climate Change chief executive Chris Stark.
“We are delighted to be welcoming Scotland’s First Minister back to the show on opening morning,” said All-Energy event director Jonathan Heastie of organisers Reed Exhibitions.
“We know the Lomond Auditorium will be packed to the proverbial gunwales to listen to her on opening morning,” he added.
All-Energy is expected to attract 7,000 participants, including up to 250 exhibiting companies and conference and seminar programme with more than 450 speakers.
The event will be co-located with the inaugural Dcarbonise, a dedicated event for Scottish low-carbon built environment and transport solutions, sponsored by the Scottish government.
