Acciona has secured a new contract to supply the Spanish TV company Radio Television Espanola with 100% renewable energy.
The deal covers the period from April 2019 to March 2021 and will result in the delivery of 206 gigawatt-hours of electricity.
Power will be supplied to RTVE buildings, equipment and high-voltage electrical installations, Acciona said.
The energy company was previously contracted to supply RTVE with electricity from April 2017 to March this year.
Acciona director of energy management Santiago Gomez Ramos said: “It is a great satisfaction to revalidate our status as a supplier of renewable energy to such a relevant client as Radio Television Espanola, which, besides evidencing the competitiveness of our product, will undoubtedly have a positive effect in order to raise awareness in the corporate sector of the advantages of betting on renewable energies.”
