Nordex booked new business for full-year 2018 of over 4700MW, up 73% from the 2700MW won in 2017.
European deals led the way with the 45% of new contracts confirmed across the continent during the last 12 months, the company said as it unveiled Q4 data.
Latin American deals totalled 25% of the yearly intake with North America on 15%.
The German turbine manufacturer Q4 result showed an in-take of almost 1.7GW for the final three months, up from 1.6GW in the year-ago period.
Almost half of the Q4 haul was for the N149/4.0-4.5 machine, including a deal for 104 units for a Swedish wind farm.
The company also nailed a first large-scale deal in India with a contract for 100 A140/3000 turbines.
Chief executive Jose Luis Blanco said: “The high customer response to the newly introduced wind turbines N149/4.0-4.5 and AW140/3000 shows that the highly efficient turbines exactly meet the requirements of our customers.
“New orders with regular customers are always good proof that products, team and performance are right.”
