Turkey’s Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources has launched a 1GW onshore wind tender.
The sale is split into four 250MW tranches for development across four regions – Balıkesir, Canakkale, Aydın and Mugla.

A price cap has been set at $0.055 a kilowatt-hour. Successful bidders will be awarded 15-year power purchase agreements.
Interested parties have until midday local time on 7 March 2019 to bid.
