German developers Loscon and Energieagentur Mecklenburg-Vorpommern have held a ground breaking ceremony for the Hoort wind farm in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany.
The 57.6MW project will feature 16 N117/3600 turbines, 10 to Loscon and six to Energieagentur Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

The machines will have a 117-metre rotors and hub height of 141 metres and are slated to be installed next year.
In August, Hoort was awarded contracts in Germany’s third onshore wind auction.
Nordex expects the 16 turbines to produce some 150 000 megawatt-hours of electricity each year.
