Bladt Industries has shipped out the last four transition pieces for Vattenfall’s 406MW Horns Rev 3 offshore wind farm located off the west coast of Denmark.
The Danish fabricator was contracted to deliver 24 TPs with a length of 32 metres and diameter of 6.5 metres. Each structure weighed about 500 tonnes, the company said.

Horns Rev 3 will comprise 49 MHI Vestas V164 8.3MW turbines.
It is scheduled to be fully operational next year.
