Enel Group’s advanced energy services division Enel X has launched in North America with the rebranding of the EnerNoc subsidiary.
The move integrates Enel’s advanced energy solutions in North America under one brand, offering a range of services, including storage, demand response and energy advisory, the company said.
Enel X is based in Boston in Massachusetts, the same city as Enel Green Power.
Enel X head Francesco Venturini said: “Today, as Enel X, we are launching one unified brand in North America that enables us to convey a stronger message to the market.
“The company has built a foundation in North America and around the globe to offer its customers even more intelligent energy services, unlocking greater value for them.
“We are creating an innovative energy system based on the exchange of sustainable services and fueled by leading-edge technologies, innovation and partnerships, to reflect the overall shift of society towards an increasingly urbanised and connected world than ever before.”
The rebranding comes one year after Enel acquired EnerNoc. In the last 12 months, more than 200 new employees have been hired bringing the total to 600 in North America.
